Mission Statement

 

GOBeyond Charities is a non-profit corporation dedicated to spreading the warm spirit of giving throughout the year and especially during the holiday season. As a charitable organization, we believe in the power of direct personal involvement. It is the primary means by which we seek to help others in our community overcome the tragic consequences of sickness, poverty and physical abuse. We know our charitable deeds really do make a difference because we make it a point to understand the specific needs of those we help.

 

We constantly seek out deserving individuals, families and institutions - especially those too often overlooked by government, social services and other charitable agencies. Then we find innovative ways to get involved.

 

Sometimes it's providing badly needed items like a winter coat for an unemployed father who has to find work to support his family. Sometimes it's helping a single mother in a shelter for battered women pay for a critical operation for her child. Or, it can simply be playing Santa to underprivileged kids at Christmas.

 

But always it's finding a way to make it a meaningful difference in peoples' lives.
